A message from Coach Norma:
I gained a lot of knowledge being a college student-athlete. I was able to earn my Nutrition and Health Science degree because of the sport I love to play. Volleyball did not teach me just about the sport but life in general. I did not just gain knowledge about the sport but about my teammates, coaches, parents, students and teachers as well. I learned the value and importance of being disciplined, dedicated, having endurance and most importantly, attitude. I have had some of my greatest experiences through the sport and would like to pass those skills on to my team.
I am grateful to have the opportunity to coach and give back. I had a dream to be a colligate player when I was younger and I would love to show what I learned growing up, to the girls who have the same goals. I would not only like to show them the game of volleyball but some life lessons off the court as well.
Volleyball is a passion and so is coaching.
