Futures (10s-12s) Program Coordinator

2023-2024
Head Coach

Girls 15 Elite

A message from Coach Jamie:
This will be my 23rd season with EVJ. I had two of my three kids while coaching at EVJ. Tatum (EVJ Alum) played and graduated from Texas Tech, where she is in her first season as an assistant coach. Brayden is entering his 5th year (grad) playing football at Cal Berkeley. My oldest, Taylour, is an entrepreneur and I have 2 grandkids that I spend my off time from the gym with as much as possible. This club has been a major part of my family's life. I have coached teams ranging from ages 12's-18's over the last 21 years. I coached two teams for the last 13 years...one being the 12R1 as well as a high school team.  In 2017 my 15N1-Tempe team qualified for Open at USAV. In 2016 my 15N1-Tempe team tied for 5th at Junior Nationals. In 2014 my 15-1 Mizuno team won the Bronze medal at the USAV National Qualifier.  This year I will focus on my 15N1-Tempe team as a coach.
I am also taking on a new role as Futures (10s-12s) Program Coordinator.  I will be working with all the 10s-12s teams coaching staff and players to ensure maximum growth for our program.

Volleyball has given me countless opportunities. I received a full ride D-1 scholarship to do what I loved. I got to travel the country playing volleyball as well as receive a free college education. I wouldn't be who I am not only as a coach, but as a mother, wife, friend and peer without volleyball. It has taught me discipline, hard work, sacrifice and teamwork. Coaching is a privilege. I am lucky. I love EVJ. It is a part of my being. The last 19 years have given me life long friends. It has given me the ability to have a positive influence on young girls lives. That is priceless.
