Program Levels

EVJ Volleyball offers a variety of levels from beginners in our Futures program to high level National teams.  Take a moment to read about the different program levels we offer and feel free to contact us anytime if you have any questions.

National (N) Teams

Each of these teams is highly competitive with the goal of finishing the season competing at the highest level at the USAV Junior National Championships (GJNC’s) in late June/July. These teams will compete regionally as well as travel out of state to compete nationally.

Each team is performance based which means that an individual’s playing time is determined by practice and tournament performance. If a player attends practice regularly, works hard and demonstrates the ability to perform the skills necessary to play the game, he will be given the opportunity to play. When given the opportunity to play, each player must bring to the court the skills that he demonstrated in practice that earned the playing time. If play in the game does not match his success during practice, then he must rededicate himself on the practice court. This cycle can only lead to success for the team and the player. Playing time is at the sole discretion of the coaches as it relates to player performance and team strategy decisions.

Regional (R) Teams

Each of these teams is designed to compete at the regional level.

Each team is performance based which means that an individual’s playing time is determined by practice and tournament performance. Futures Program

Our 12U program is known as our Futures Program. Each 12 & Under team operates with more of an equal playing time philosophy. However, attendance, work ethic, and skill execution are still factors considered and playing time is at the sole discretion of the coaches as it relates to player performance and team strategy decisions.
