Exciting News! EVJ and AZ Primitive Volleyball Club have merged volleyball operations. In addition to expanding the club offerings for girls, a boys’ program will be added to the EVJ line up.

We have successfully merged Arizona Primitive Volleyball Club, run for the past 16 years by Fred Mann, into East Valley Juniors Volleyball Club. EVJ is excited to now be able to offer club volleyball opportunities to both girls and boys. Coach Mann will join our girls’ coaching staff in the 16’s age group and will continue to have a very strong leadership role in the boys’ program. While the girls’ program will merge into operations this coming club season, the AZP boys’ program will begin operations under EVJ sometime next year. Both programs will eventually operate out of Court One.

On a personal note, I am thrilled to have Coach Mann at EVJ. We are always looking to make our program stronger and adding Coach Mann to our girls’ coaching staff at the high school level strengthens our already deep and experienced staff. We are blessed to have such a loyal and talented coaching staff to work with at EVJ. Over the years, we have fielded many requests to add a boys’ program at EVJ. Coach Mann runs one of the largest and most successful boys’ clubs in the state and we are proud to carry on his boys’ tradition at EVJ.
