EVJ Beach Coach

A message from Coach Gabby:
This will be my second season coaching after playing club volleyball for nine (9) years and collegiate indoor and beach volleyball for four (4). I loved my first year and I'm so ready to do it again! Throughout my volleyball career I have been in many championship matches, traveled to many states, but most importantly created lifelong friendships. I remember my first year of club playing for the EVJ 10s team, and how exciting it was when I got my first serve over the net from behind the end line. I look back on that team and it is amazing to me that I formed friendships with girls I am still best friends with today.

To me, volleyball is my passion. It is an incredible sport that provides players with skills not only on the court but also off. It instills discipline, teamwork, leadership skills, respect and so much more. My goal this season is to provide my players with foundational technical volleyball skills that can lead to high level skills and to teach them how to be great teammates by working together. I cannot wait to keep sharing my knowledge of this sport with my players and teaching them the values of commitment and perseverance.

One of my favorite quotes from my pilates instructor is, “We can and we will”. Let’s get this season started! Go EVJ!
