2023 EVJ Winter Clothing and Sock Drive--Starts December 6th!

Please join the 2023-2024 EVJ Staff in making this year's winter clothing and sock drive a huge success.

Decorated donation boxes will be placed in the Court One lobby December 6-18 to collect your contributions.  Please help us make someone's winter more comfortable and cozy!

Thank you for your generosity.

Please help us provide warmth at Christmas this year to those less fortunate!

Community Fundraising Opportunities:
Help support East Valley Juniors Volleyball Club while also potentially assisting with your daughter’s volleyball account. Kroger/Fry’s has Community Rewards Programs that allows them to support non-profits in our community! EVJ is a non-profit and we have enrolled as a participating organization in both programs.
See below for instructions on how to start the programs immediately.

Fry's VIP Program

Link your Fry’s VIP Card to East Valley Juniors Volleyball Club, shop at Fry’s and use your VIP Card. Qualifying purchases will start accumulating and a % of your purchases throughout the year will be donated to EVJ! Our hope at EVJ is to credit individual player’s accounts that participate based on your individual donated amount each cycle. Friends and family can also get involved!

Here are some easy steps to get started:

  • Go to www.frysfood.com, scroll to the bottom and under "Community" select Fry's Community Rewards
  • Click on the Orange Enroll Now radio button
  • If you already have signed in before, then simply put in your email and password and sign-in. If not, you may need to register for your first time and create a password.
  • Now you should be able to put in EVJ’s organization # of 80249 and click Search
  • East Valley Juniors Volleyball Club, Inc. should come up and then you can Save them as the organization

Once you have done the above, you can click on Account Summary on the left and you will be able to scroll down and see the Fry’s Community Rewards Program and EVJ as your organization of choice. This will be the page you will print and turn into EVJ at the end of each cycle. There are four cycles in the year:

  • Cycle 1: September 1 – November 30 – Donations sent by December 31st to EVJ
  • Cycle 2: December 1 – February 28 – Donations sent by March 31st to EVJ
  • Cycle 3: March 1 – May 31 – Donations sent by June 30th to EVJ
  • Cycle 4: June 1 – August 31 – Donations sent by September 30th to EVJ

At the end of each cycle, you may provide your summary with a $ amount.  We (EVJ) have no access to your individual account. You can request credit for the amount contributed on your behalf, but you must be a participating member of EVJ in order to receive credit. If you have any questions about registering, you will need to work with Fry’s customer service. Other questions can be directed to Jen Leo. Thanks!

Community Service Pledge Drive:
This pledge drive can be initiated at any time by any player. Player collects pledges from family, friends, relatives, and neighbors by personalizing and mailing the form letter out. In return the volleyball player will donate five (5) hours of community service during the club volleyball season. The community service project is up to the player and can be work done for a neighbor, elderly relative, church activity, tutoring another student, etc. Player is responsible for collecting the money from their sponsors for the pledges. Parents are responsible for assuring that the player does complete the community service project. This is a great opportunity to contribute back to the community. This is an individual player fundraiser.

Serve-A-Thon Pledge Drive:
Serve-A-Thons can be held twice during the season for all EVJ teams upon request. How it works? The maximum number of volleyball serves per player is 100 serves. Each player is responsible for collecting her pledges for each serve made or a flat donation pledge overall. This is a great opportunity to get support from friends at school. You can mail out a letter or get friends to sign a pledge form.  This is an individual player fundraiser.
