Theresa Abernathy

Head Coach

Girls 14R2-Tempe

A message from Coach Theresa:
I am extremely excited to continue my coaching career at EVJ. I am fully dedicated to bringing my energy, enthusiasm and love of the game to make this be the most exciting and challenging season.

This is my 9th year of coaching with EVJ. I bring in over 30 years of coaching experience in all age groups including the collegiate level. My success at the club level has allowed me to take many teams to the National Championships where I have finished in the top 5 & top 10 which included a bronze medal in the 15 open.

My goal is to guide my athletes by setting high expectations and helping them to reach those expectations but also to EXCEED them, while building & reinforcing desirable character traits. I will teach my athletes that a successful season can be achieved by, believing in each other and respecting our teammates while reaching for our goals.
