A message from Coach Lauren:
Hello! My mission as a coach is to teach my players the fundamentals they need to succeed in volleyball and life. I like to think that my playing career had a lot to do with how I developed as a person. A coaches style and influence play a big role in shaping an athlete and it is an opportunity to instill great values and lessons into an athlete.

I strive to create an environment where my players learn from developing strong fundamentals, which are critical to advancement, in a safe and FUN way.  I emphasize fun because over my playing career, I have seen too many girls driven out because they lost their love of the game. I strive at every opportunity to keep my players spark alive by keeping volleyball something they enjoy even through the tough times.

My hope is that at the end of the season my players advance in their skills and understand better the importance of a strong work ethic and teamwork. As I coach I have found that my girls teach me just as much as I teach them and that is why I love to coach.
